WHEN WE RIDE...
- WE WORK. We work hard. Challenge yourself to crank up that resistance a little higher, dip a little deeper and sprint a little faster.
- WE RESPECT. We are mindful of each other and this space. This means being respectful of the instructor and other riders by not speaking while class is in progress.
- WE SWEAT. Things get pretty hot in here. We are considerate of others by smelling so fresh and so clean and being mindful of strong perfumes and body odour.
- WE LEAVE IT ALL AT THE DOOR. Inside these walls is a safe space and a rare opportunity to completely lose yourself. We leave it all at the door, including our cell phones. If you are expecting an important call, the front desk will be happy to answer your phone for you if you leave it with us.
- WE HAVE FUN. Everything is easier with a smile on your face.
What to wear: We recommend wearing leggings or shorts and a top that you are comfortable working out in. At SPINCO, we ride wearing cycling shoes. Don't have your own? No sweat, we've got you covered. Cycling shoes are included in your class purchase. If you do have your own cycling shoes, please note that we use Look Keo clips.
Arriving on time: We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the start of class to ensure that you have ample time to check-in, change, and set-up your bike. If it’s your first time, let our front desk team know – we want to take good care of you! If you have not checked in at least 5 minutes before class, your bike may be allocated to a rider on our waitlist.
Hydrate: Things get pretty sweaty inside of our studio doors. Make sure to bring a bottle of water with you. We also sell bottled water and S'well bottles!
Our booking goes live on Mondays at 1:00pm for the following two weeks (meaning that classes for the following Monday morning to Sunday end of day will be released at this time).
SPINCO Oakville has a 12-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel your bike 12 hours before your scheduled class, your credit will be returned to you. If you cancel your bike within our 12-hour cancellation policy, your credit will be lost. Unlimited packages (introductory offers, one month & three month) will be charged $15 + applicable taxes for classes cancelled within this time frame. If three unpaid late cancellations and/or no shows are accumulated on an unlimited package, the package will be frozen until the charges can be applied.
ONLINE WAITLIST POLICY
Up to 1 hour before class
If a class is full, you may add yourself to the waitlist. You will need an available credit in your account to do so. When a bike becomes available, you will be automatically added to the class according to your position in the queue, up to one hour before the class is scheduled to begin. If you are successful in securing a bike, an email confirming your reservation will be sent to you. By adding yourself to the waitlist - we assume that you are hoping to ride. If you do not wish to be added to the class, you will need to cancel your waitlist booking. This credit will be applied if you are successful in securing a bike or held up until the online waitlist expires (a few minutes after class is scheduled to begin). If you are scheduled for another class, and secure a bike from the waitlist, you will be charged for both reservations. Our 12-hour cancellation policy applies.
1 hour – 30 minutes before class
During this window, if a bike becomes available, a member of staff will call the phone number on your SPINCO account, according to your position in the queue. If you confirm that you would like to secure the available bike, you will be added to the class. If you do not wish to ride, or do not answer, you will not be added to the class and we will call the next client in the queue.
WALK-IN WAITLIST POLICY
30 minutes – 5 minutes before class
Our walk-in waitlist operates on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to be added to a full class, you will need to physically come into the studio. Phone requests will not be accepted. The front desk staff will take down names of clients, in the order in which they ask to be added to the waitlist. 5 minutes before class is scheduled to begin, we will begin to re-allocate available bikes to the walk-in waitlist.
We recommend arriving 15 minutes ahead of time to ensure you get the full SPINCO experience. That being said, we understand that late arrivals can be inevitable due to a number of factors, which is why we offer a 5-minute grace period. If we can confidently and safely get you into class in fewer than 5 minutes after the class was scheduled to begin, then we will happily to do so and come into the studio to help set you up. If we can’t get you into the class, we gladly offer same day re-bookings using the same credit.
If you are booked into a full class and would like to change bike positions, please let our front desk team know. You will be added to the move list and asked for your preferred bike position. 4 minutes before class is scheduled to begin, we will reallocate available bikes to individuals on the move list, according to the order in which they were added to the list.
MISSED CLASS CHARGE
If you are on an unlimited package, and miss a class or cancel within our 12-hour cancellation window, you will be charged $15 + applicable taxes.
At SPINCO, we make sure to provide you with everything that you need, so that all you need to focus on is giving it your all during your ride.
A sweat towel will be waiting for you on the bike when you enter the studio. We also offer luxurious shower facilities that are stocked with shower towels, shampoo, conditioner, & body wash. In addition, we offer ear plugs, ear buds, hair elastics, face wipes, tampons, and hair dryers.
We also offer a water station outside of the studio if you’ve brought your own bottle, and have water and S’well bottles for purchase.
SPINCO also has a well-stocked merchandise section, offering leggings, shorts, sports bras, workout shirts, sweatshirts, hats, socks & more.
