Why do you teach at SPINCO?

SPINCO is my happy place, and has been since day one. It's a place where anyone can step out of their comfort zone and feel supported by each and every person in the room. Its empowering and uplifting atmosphere drives me to the community. I never smile more then when I am on that bike seeing my riders move together and showing up for not just themselves, but everyone else in the room. It's truly a magical feeling.

What motivates you to get on the bike every class?

The riders, the music and the community. It's the indescribable feeling and rush of when those light go down and that beat drops. It’s the feeling of being able to completely let go, get lost in the music and disconnect from the outside world for 50 minutes. That's the SPINCO magic.

What do you want your riders to get/feel from your class?

I want my riders to feel as though they can achieve anything they set their mind too. I want them to feel strong and supported in my class. But most importantly, when they walk out those doors, I want them to have the biggest smile on their face because just showing up and clipping in is a huge accomplishment and something they should be so proud of!

What is your favourite type of music to ride to?

Anything with a good beat! I like my playlists to have a little bit of everything- songs that get you fired up, but also songs that make you just want to let loose and sing along!

Favourite day off activity?

I  love playing games with friends and family!  Board games, card games, lawn games… you name it, I am in!
