Why do you teach at SPINCO?

I teach at SPINCO to give others the opportunity to challenge and surprise themselves by doing things they never thought they could do! I teach here also to be apart of and invite others into a safe, caring, family like environment that you can count on and will always be here for you. Last but not least I teach at SPINCO because I want to do what I love and share my passion with others.

What motivates you to get on the bike every class?

What motivates me to get on the bike every class is the feeling I get when I zone in and escape any thoughts that are weighing me down and surprise myself by challenging my body in ways I didn’t think I could. No matter what kind of day I am having I can use my emotions to fuel myself during my ride and accomplish goals, tiny or huge, they all count.

What do you want your riders to get/feel from your class?

I want my riders to have a safe space to escape from whatever is happening beyond the doors of the room and I want them to feel proud that they took time out of their day to honour and work on their physical and mental health. I want each rider to make every choice on their bike with confidence, honouring their limitations but also pushing past mental boundaries.

What is your favourite type of music to ride to?

My favourite type of music to ride to is rap/hip hop.
