Why do you teach at SPINCO?

The community – 100%. I fell in love with the way SPINCO values their community since the first day I walked through those doors as an intimidated new rider. I felt welcomed and encouraged the entire time by the SPINCO staff as well as the other riders. SPINCO is definitely not just another spin studio. It’s a fun, high-intensity, judgement-free environment that allows people of all walks of life to feel safe, connect and grow as one team for 50-minutes. When you have a community as strong as SPINCO’s, the energy in every class is contagious and the feeling is unparalleled.

What motivates you to jump on the bike every class?

Knowing that whether I’m in a good place in my life or going through some painful challenges, I always leave class with a clear mind and feeling inspired to take on the world outside of those doors. It’s not just about the incredible workout; it’s the way it motivates me to be the best version of myself outside of those four walls as well.

What do you want your riders to get/feel from your class?

I want my riders to feel empowered, strong, energized, and LIMITLESS. My goal is to ensure every single rider leaves my class feeling accomplished, proud, and surprised of the boundaries they were able to push both physically and mentally.

What is your favourite type of music to ride to?

Heavy beats and throwbacks. But I still love a good “feely” track that makes my eyes extra glossy.

Where will we find you off the bike?

I love hiking, kayaking, exploring and traveling… basically anything off the grid with my husband and pup. But when I’m home you’ll most likely find me dancing uncoordinatedly in the kitchen while cooking or curled up with a coffee while blogging.

Quote you live by?

 Growth and comfort cannot coexist.
