Why do you teach at SPINCO?
I started teaching spin with no experience, and no expectations. I wanted to try something new and challenge myself to do something far outside my comfort zone. It was exactly that! It was uncomfortable, and it WORKED. From that point on I knew I had found an unforeseen passion. All I want to do is share that feeling, and try to help people find their own passion, on and off the bike.
What motivates you to get the bike everyday?
My son Hunter is the reason I do mostly everything. Without knowing it, he teaches me daily to enjoy the little things, appreciate all you love, and to giggle constantly \uD83D\uDE0A
What do you want your riders to get and feel from your class?
I want them to connect. With me, with the music, with themselves and with the high that comes with it all. There is nothing better than the sweaty high five's at the end of class, followed by a "Holy Sh*t, that was amazing!!" I feel so fortunate to be a part of what made them feel that way.
Who inspires you?
Without a doubt my riders that I have seen grow to outrageous levels, as well as my fellow instructors that I followed, and continue to follow, this crazy amazing path with.
Favourite type of music?
90s. HIP. HOP. But really anything new and old that makes me feel a little more gangsta than I actually am.
