Why do you teach at SPINCO?
I teach at SPINCO because it enables me to share my love and passion for fitness and community through teaching. As an instructor, I feel like you are able to send a message and motivate and inspire those around you because people hear what you want to say.
What motivates you to jump on that bike every class?
No matter what mood I am in or whether I had a good or bad day, I know getting on that bike and riding to some loud music will make my day better either way. Even if I may not feel like exercising (which happens) I know every single time, I will feel better physically and emotionally afterward, so I jump on the bike every class.
What do you want your riders to get and feel from your class?
The most important thing to me is that I don’t want my riders to feel like I am any different than them or that I am a perfect person. I want them to feel like we are all in it together: you work hard, you sweat, you give so much, and we all will have good and bad days because that's life. So I want to really make them feel the sense of being one and being a community and that they only come to the class to not prove those around them or prove to me, but prove to themselves, that they have so much to give on that bike, and really that they are unstoppable, beautiful and so strong
