Why do you teach at SPINCO?
As a student, spin has become an amazing mental zone out and release for me. It has done wonders to my mental health, and my goal is to provide that for others. I want to create a community full of support with individuals that lift each other up instead of tearing each other down. I hope to inspire, motivate and encourage individuals to be the best version of themselves, and teaching at SPINCO gives me that opportunity.
What motivates you to get on the bike every class?
The way I feel after a ride. There’s no better feeling than absolutely crushing a tough class, especially while surrounded by such amazing people.
What do you want your riders to get/feel from your class?
I want riders to feel accomplished, proud and uplifted after my class. My goal is to help riders overcome obstacles, push themselves pass their boundaries, and let go of any stress or negative feelings from the day. All in all, if I can make people feel something positive, it’s a success to me!
What is your favourite type of music to ride to?
I love riding to all types of music. Depending on the type of track, I vibe to different genres. Overall, house music seems to be a constant.
Three words your best friend would use to describe you?
Hardworking, empathetic and determined.
