Why do you teach at SPINCO?
I feel privileged to be part of the Spinco community as an instructor. Each rider comes with their own goals and inspirations, which I get to be a part of. I aim to set up the moments in my class that allows riders to push their limits and achieve new levels. I get a strong sense of pride and motivation when a class is moving to the beat, feeling empowered and strong.
Quote to live by?
Winning does not come from strength. Our challenges develop our strengths. When we go through challenges and decide not to surrender-that is strength.
Where can you find me off the bike?
Getting an iced coffee, discovering new food places in Montreal, reading endless amounts of law cases, and petting dogs that walk by. Did I mention iced coffee?
What is your favorite type of music to ride to?
I have an eclectic and curated taste in music that is heavily influenced by my mood and activity. My go-to tracks are often sorts of electronica, future bass, and experimental remixes. However, for Spin, anything with a strong beat is always a good choice – to catch that lead leg!
